A beautiful, small, and above all quiet place. I had a few beads of sweat on my forehead before every bridge. Some of them seem to be a bit dated. And were they expecting heavily laden e-bike tourists back then? I don't know :) But it all held up.

Giethoorn's less touristy neighbor, but no less worth seeing. Here, too, pretty thatched-roof houses are located directly on the village canal.
