The Canterbury Shaker Village is a National Historic Landmark and museum. It allows visitors to learn about the Shaker community that used to live in the area. It is free to enter the area and there are buildings, exhibitions and trails to explore.

Oak Hill Fire Tower is a popular spot with locals. You will have to leave your bike at the bottom of the tower to be able to climb the stairs to the top of the tower for views of the western mountains of the Monadnock Region, Mount Kearsarge, Mount Cardigan, and others.

There is a public beach and car parking here at the south end of Webster Lake. Whether you are cycling along Webster Road or along the Northern Rail Trail, it is worth a stop here to look at the views. There is also a small, compact covered bridge with exposed side trusses, which is gorgeous to look at going over Chance Pond Brook. In addition, there are also rest rooms here if the need arises.
