Chester Valley Trail is an almost 19-mile long trail. The trail is paved and is part of the Circuit Trails, which is a network of almost 800 miles of trails around greater Philadelphia.

This historic gem, nicknamed "Old Faithful," has stood proudly over the French Creek for over 150 years, captivating locals and visitors alike with its charm and resilience. Cross the bridge and soak in the picturesque views of the French Creek, lush woodlands, and the charming town of Phoenixville.

The French Creek Trail is an almost 5-mile long multiuse trail that follows French Creek. The path is a mix of gravel and paved, with several bridges to cross the creek.

The Knox Covered Bridge is a beautiful bridge over Valley Creek. It was originally built in 1851 and was recently refurbished.

The Valley Creek Trail is a 3-mile long multiuse trail that parallels the creek with the same name. The surface of the path is gravel and is well maintained.

These are the ruins of an abandoned Colonial Spring water bottling plant, located just outside the borders of Valley Forge National Historical Park.

One of two high points in this area (with Mount Joy as the other), Mount Misery is the centerpiece for four miles of trails. It also marks the last mile of the Horse-Shoe Trail, which connects Valley Forge National Historical Park to the Appalachian Trail.

The Cedar Hollow Road Park is a small park along Little Valley Creek. The park is mostly green space, but there are some picnic tables, so it is a good spot for a break.
