Probably my favorite stretch at the moment. Depending on the time of day and time of year, you can often find yourself almost completely alone here.

Love this. 9 times out of 10, cars will pass with wide margin even in the presence of the cycle lanes/road shoulders. Wave to your fellow cyclists, because there will be many. :)

I got soaked to the socks! I think there's a side-path to keep you dry if you decide to come through here.

The main beach is nice, but can be crowded. Take a stroll and you'll find lots of nice spots on the lake with nobody around.

Stop off at Bagarstuga for a pastry and a coffee. It's also very close to some ancient pagan tombstones.

Not so much traffic. Most cars use the highway instead.

This segment is wonderful and hardly no traffic except during weekends when people come to visit the national park. It never gets heavy though. Chanses to see deer, fox and moose are good.

Head down towards the water to Kristinahuset, a classic café overlooking Drevviken lake. A jump from the jetty is highly recommended, though not for small children.

A sandy lakeside beach with diving platforms and amenities. Stockholmers have flocked here for decades, and for good reason. It's beautifully situated in a pine forest and the water is crystal clear. A great place to stop and cool off on a warm summer day!
