The Rocky Creek Bridge is a beautiful reinforced‑concrete, open‑spandrel arch bridge finished in 1932. The bridge is one of the highlights along the Pacific Coast Highway.

Even eating ice cream on the streets was not allowed for fear of too much garbage. In 1985, the authorities prohibited Eastwood from building a small office building - for reasons of historical preservation.
