The Old Mill is a historic windmill located on Prospect Street that was constructed back in 1746. Notably, this windmill is the oldest functioning mill in the United States. In 1992, it was also designated as a Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Popsquatchet Hills sits at an elevation of 72 feet and is home to the Loines Observatory. The observatory has two domes, noticeable from Milk Street Ext, that were built in 1968 and 2006.

The beach of the saltwater Sesachacha Pond is more protected from winds keeping the water warm and calm. This make this location popular for families with children as well as for windsurfers and boaters.

Long Pond was connected to Hither Creek and Madaket Harbor by a canal that was installed in 1665. Historically, it was a way of harvesting blueback herring and American eels that spawned and lived in the pond. Today, Long Pond is a fishing spot and a relaxing body of water to enjoy.
