Manson is a small, friendly lake town on the north shore of Lake Chelan. There are multiple wineries, with orchards, vineyards, and mountain views surrounding the town. The town center has cafes, tasting rooms, a brewery, and a few local shops, plus a waterfront park and marina where you can swim, paddle, or catch a boat out onto the lake.

Wapato Lake, neighboring Dry Lake and Rose Lake, spans 216 acres and has a boat launch and dock, while much of the rest of the shoreline is privately owned. Fishing is popular here, and there are wineries on the shores where visitors can try local wine and enjoy the waterfront views.

Lake Chelan is one of the deepest and longest lakes in the United States, stretching over 50 miles. This freshwater lake is a hot spot for recreational activities such as boating, fishing, paddleboarding, and swimming, while the surrounding mountains provide plenty of hiking and camping.

Lake Chelan State Park, nestled along the southern shore of Lake Chelan, is a recreational haven. It boasts stunning lake views and a diverse landscape. Furthermore, the park offers camping facilities, picnic areas, and a sandy beach to take a short break before continuing your ride.

South Lakeshore Road is a scenic route tracing the shoreline of Lake Chelan. With a mix of gentle slopes and challenging inclines, it caters to cyclists of various skill levels. Enjoy the tranquil beauty of the lake on one side and the surrounding hills on the other.

Stehekin Valley Road winds through the breathtaking valley of the same name along the northern shore of Lake Chelan. The scenic route is surrounded by pristine wilderness and offers great opportunities for biking.

Lake Chelan, nestled in the North Cascades of Washington, is a 50.5-mile long natural lake. Known for its crystal-clear waters, the lake is surrounded by vineyards, orchards, and mountainous terrain.

Nestled deep into the North Cascades National Park lies the tiny town of Stehekin. It is less than 100 miles from the Canadian border and only accessible by foot, boat or seaplane. It is eleven miles from the Pacific Crest Trail on a dirt road. Two shuttle companies run at least four times a day to get you here. Most hikers send their final resupply package to Stehekin. The small town has a friendly post office, an excellent restaurant, a small store, hotel, campground and a laundromat with showers. You should definitely stop at the bakery outside of town and get some delicious cinnamon rolls – my personal favorite. The shuttle stops there, too.
