It is the point which marks the border between two countries. It is a cycle path and a walking path and if you cross the small bridge you will be in France. There are no customs or document checks... On the other side is the suburbs of Ambilly then Annemasse.

One of the most popular local Mountain Biking spots Le Petit Saleve is a great ride. The climb is slightly steep in sections but skilled and fit rider can pedal it in its entirety, other mortals will have to push in few spots. The decent is nice and flowy. There is a hidden enduro dh trail there and the lower decent sections towards the Chapelle des Entrembieres are highly technical sufficient to challenge most skilled riders
