On the outskirts of Riopar, near the fish farm, we will have to cross the Mundo River if we want to climb the calares. The river usually has a lot of flow so you will have to get your feet wet.

Ancient walnut tree approximately 500 years old, which dried, but its trunk was preserved so that we can contemplate its impressive dimensions. To get there from the road you have to cross a small wooden bridge over the Taibilla River.

The name of the viewpoint comes from the Carthaginian general Amílcar Barca, father of the great Aníbal Barca, who may have had the battle that cost him his life in this area. But this is not the most important thing, but rather the views that will leave you speechless. The viewpoint has a recreational area.

This charming town is very popular among mountain lovers, since it is located in the natural park of Calares del Río Mundo and La Sima. The source of the Mundo River and the jets are two natural spectacles very close to this town that you cannot miss.

Crossing the river to the south of the fish farm is quite an adventure. There is no bridge, therefore you have to ford it. The water is very cool and your feet will surely thank you. I recommend you use river flip flops or booties, since the stones can be a bit uncomfortable when stepping on them.

A balcony-viewpoint located at a higher level than the road (you have to go up a staircase), overlooking the valley on a large rock protected by a stone wall and a metal fence. It has an information panel. Spectacular views of Aýna and the mountains.
