Starting point/destination for many beautiful mountain hikes

If you climb a few metres from the valley station of the Sunnbüelbahn, you will soon have a beautiful view of the Kandertal and the town of Kandersteg. A Swiss idyll straight out of a picture book.

Use the Sunnbüel cable car to get to the mountain station at an altitude of 1,934 meters quickly and comfortably. From there you have direct access to breathtaking hiking trails, such as the panoramic trail to Gemmi or the route to Daubensee. Ideal for day trips and suitable for all fitness levels. The valley station offers ample parking and is easy to reach by public transport.
