There is a little cafe above the main car park for a coffee and cake after the "gift shop" labelled walks. As usual, Komoot makes the walk easier than using signposts - remember to download to the phone app. Kayaking/canoeing around the lake is only possible for about half of it due to a protected bird sanctuary.

A 10/10 piece of road starting just after Dolhendre caravan park. The roads are smooth and winding, with some steep but varied gradients. Keep an eye out for the waterfalls and enjoy the descent heading towards Trawsfynydd: just watch out for the gates!

Winding single track road with a few gates to go through. I would recommend riding this from East to West to get the most fun decending

No haute cuisine, but coffee and delicious cakes and rustic soups and other dishes. Very good after the strenuous hike.

Don't go too far if it's rained or you end up getting your feet wet. Beautiful place not far from car park and cafe can be quite stoney

Another great little cafe, bistro on the high Street of Bala. Very pretty with out door seating

Good little cafe on Bala Lake it was an old fashioned van outside that has lots of different flavors of ice cream. It was blasting out old 60s music which was fun. Dogs only outside under the umbrellas on hot days. Try the cheese & ham toastie. Prices are a little high but it's well worth it.

Great climb with a good community of cyclists Road and MTB. An absolute belter of a climb is very tough long and then hairpins. Only made it up to the 16% then and had to stop for a break. Getting going again was difficult.

Llangower provides access to the lakeside for walks, picnics and bird watching. The stop also offers access to the car park and adjacent toilet facilities provided by the Snowdonia National Park. There is a passing loop and small signal box here which is used on gala days and for the pink timetable to allow trains to pass. A beautiful little picnic area for a stop and a break before cycling them hills again.

Bala is a town and community in Gwynedd, Wales. Formerly an urban district, Bala lies in the historic county of Merionethshire at the north end of Bala Lake. it has a wonderful village style feeling, and everyone speaks Welsh, which is truly amazing to hear. They have some good shops and supermarkets. They have tiny little petrol stations on the curb, and they attendant comes out and serves you. Great roads in this area and some can be very steep in these parts, plenty of cyclists and motorcycles well worth a ride.

Fantastic place with some nice pubs in the area great views and some great climbs

This road runs along the side of Carnedd Iago a summit in the Arenig region or range in Wales, United Kingdom of Great Britain. Carnedd Iago is 538 metres high. All the walking routes up Carnedd Iago on Mud and Routes can be found below. The top can be identified by the rock slabs on ground by fence junction. Other Notes: ground 10m S at SH 78272 40641 is as high. Carnedd Iago is a child summit of Manod Mawr.

Amazing dam - there are some plaque's at the end of it to note some of the key dates. Impressive structure. I visited out of season and it was really tranquil.
