Road with new tarmac one side and gravel tracks the other side. Lovely riding.

A very steep hill and not much there on arrival apart from tourist buses and a hotel. Nice views though.

A popular spot for cyclists in Aberfoyle. Great pies, but there are other options for food and drink. There's also an ice cream parlour next door as well if you need something sweet.

This is a great road to start exploring the rich variety of cycling routes around Loch Lomond and the Trossachs area. The road is very quiet and rarely sees cars, so you can just relax and enjoy the scenery of this stunning national park.

Take the train to Tarbet Station, and the boat from Tarbet Pier to Inversnaid for a great adventure without the car

Amazing waterfalls and hotel complex has a warm separate rucksack and boot room. Plenty of power sockets for recharging your equipment too.

Take the ferry from here to the west shore of the loch to avoid the unrideable trail northwards

Dukes Pass is a pass on the A821 road between Aberfoyle and Brig o' Turk in the glen of the Trossachs in the Scottish Highlands. It climbs to a height of 240 metres (790 ft) above sea level. The road was built by the Duke of Montrose in 1885, hence the name.
