Great stop for coffee and cake

Big climb from Aberfeldy nice and easy does it

Great ride between Killin and Kenmore. Road was good but a real rollercoaster! Very few flat areas but beautiful none the less. Also, stopped for a bowl of soup at the Ferryman, which was excellent.

Beautiful dramatic rock formations

On a practical note, it's one of the few bridges over the river in this area so it's likely a waypoint. That said, it's worth a pause to look upstream and downstream and take the obligatory photo. If you're naughty, there's a jail built into the bridge underneath.

Non-vehicular traffic these days. A very steep humpback bridge gives a good view of the river.

Quiet road with good surfaces. Undulating.

The east riverside path offers a splendid ride, predominantly on asphalt, and forms part of National Cycle Network (NCN) 77. Around Dunkeld House Hotel, the route is a shared space with vehicles. Between the hotel and Dunkeld, riders are treated to a choice between parallel paths: a slightly elevated gravel path and a lower, closer-to-the-river dirt path. Both options provide a very rideable experience. On the west riverside, there’s a dirt path that truly calls to MTB and gravel bike enthusiasts.
