Vedana Lake is a small stretch of water of glacial origin located in the municipality of Sospirolo, in the province of Belluno. Located immediately south of the Monti del Sole chain, it does not have tributaries and emissaries, thus constituting an endorheic basin. The lake lies in an area of great naturalistic interest, at the gates of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park; it occupies a small depression caused by an ancient riverbed of the Cordevole river, within an area called Masiere, a large expanse of large boulders and debris now largely covered by pioneer vegetation. The lake is fed by underground water veins, along the direction of an ancient abandoned valley of the Cordevole torrent.

The walkway, which had been destroyed by the fury of the Cordevole torrent during the Vaia storm, has been completely redone. Now, as you can see in the photos, it is truly beautiful and safe. It is located in Peròn, in the municipality of Sedico (BL). On the walkway you can only go on foot. The bike must be pushed by hand.
