This equipped area includes a forest ranger barracks. Among the facilities, the only accessible ones (for emergencies) are two stables. There is a fountain with excellent water. There is an internet connection only in the northernmost section.

Two very beautiful lakes in the Nebrodi Park. They are connected by a forest road. Very easy walk, almost no incline. Sneakers are sufficient.

Excellent opportunity for a stop and to refuel near a forestry shelter.

Lake Biviere is one of the many natural lakes that dot the Nebrodi Park. Among its reeds it is possible to observe many species of aquatic birds such as coots, moorhens and ducks.

The shelter is in a pitiful condition. Inside there is also a carcass of a calf. There is a chimney. The fountain collects rainwater but does not have its own source. Connection only further north.

Section of the Sentiero Italia between Lake Biviere and Lake Maulazzo inside the Nebrodi Park. The first is a natural lake surrounded by a centuries-old beech forest, the second is an artificial reservoir at the foot of Monte Soro.

Lake Maulazzo is an artificial basin created in the 1980s by foresters. It is located in the Nebrodi Park at the foot of Monte Soro.
