Via San Giorgio Giagumona is a small country road mostly next to the railway. It is one-way, you can only travel in the direction of Sassari. Coming from Platamona and via De Martini, it allows you to reach Sassari by bike avoiding the treacherous SS 131 and Buddi-Buddi.

Small but charming cycle path along the Portotorres seafront. From the port, it goes up to the little church and the Balai beach passing through the city beaches of Scoglio Lungo and Acque Dolci. Acque Dolci is a free equipped beach: there are showers, bars, lifeguard service. Perfect for families, even if it is very crowded in summer.

The town of Baddimanna is located on the northern outskirts of Sassari, adjacent to the Monte Rosello district and stretches eastwards over a hilly area, connecting to the hills of Filigheddu and Monti Bianchinu through a network of local roads. In the heart of Baddimanna there is the Park of the same name, which constitutes one of the largest green areas in the city: it extends for around ten hectares and is home to a pine forest, in which there are also other species such as mastic and various spontaneous flowers. Created about seventy years ago following a devastating fire, the Park has undergone progressive degradation which has made it less usable for the population; but in the 1920s the area was redeveloped, suitably equipped and made usable for citizens. The park named after Baden-Powell, founder of Scouting, is equipped with various picnic facilities with wooden tables and benches, waste collection baskets, children's games, a dog area and a cycle-pedestrian path; there is a kiosk bar and a restaurant. Furthermore, inside the park there is a monument dedicated to the soldiers of the Sassari Brigade. It is located in via Prati and the entrance time varies from 9am - 5pm to 9am - 9pm depending on the seasons.

The Marina di Sorso, located a short distance from Sassari, offers a coastal experience surrounded by Mediterranean scents, with an emerald sea and a beach of soft white sand, mixed with colorful pebbles. This vast seven-kilometre stretch of beach is surrounded by a forest of pine and juniper trees, stretching as far as the long, wide Platamona to the west. At the far end of the beach, the soft sand is dotted with lush natural vegetation, including thistles, dwarf palms and sea lilies. These characteristics make Marina di Sorso one of the most loved beaches along the Sassari coast, offering spectacular sunsets with Asinara in the background. Continuing east, you come across Marritza, a long beach with light gray sand that turns into darker shades, almost black, with the presence of pebbles in some parts.

Tourist resort famous for its beaches. Here you can admire the beach of Balai which is located near the characteristic church overlooking the sea (church of San Gavino a mare). There is also a nice bike path near the beach.
