Poole Harbour is one of the biggest natural harbours in the world. Steeped in history, this great harbour also has access to stunning countryside and woodland areas. Here on the coastal side of the Old Town part of Poole Harbour are fine views out over the main channel towards Poole and Brownsea Island.

Could be fun for kids I suppose, but this is a pretty dull track otherwise, and used as a footpath, so need to watch out for people.

Very bust during the summer season. a few restaurants and surf shops, toilets and showers, also free to use electric bbqs.

Home of the Jazz Cafe. Stop for espresso and cake whenever i'm down this area.

Nice start section for a ride along to sandbanks and back. Start at Sobo and have espresso and a bite to eat.

An easy little walking route. Ground gets a little boggy in places after rainy days. first time here and it was fairly quiet. you're in the woods so not much in the way of svenic views. but a great place to just get the steps in.

Walk your bike down the steps. I made it halfway down and fell off bike, :)

Black Cactus is a very friendly cafe with delicious food. you can charge up, recharge and refresh. Nice space to park your bikes right infront too. dogs also welcome.

Cracking little spot on the edge of the river Stour to stop for lunch, or even just a quick break from a day's riding!

Out of season is better as it can get very busy down here

Small commercial port but many and large marinas throughout the port area. Dominating everything is the huge shipyard where large motor ships of the Sunseeker brand are produced.
