素晴らしいフレンドリーなカフェで、良い雰囲気、自転車ラック、給水タップがあります。カフェにたどり着くまで美しいライドです。南ロンドンから約30kmなので、完璧な休憩距離です。これ以上望むことはできません。

You wouldn't expect to find this lovely pub in this location.

Beautifully decorated both outside and in, this pub near Deptford High Street and the Thames Path offers a great range of drinks, a decent food menu, has live music , a garden out the front and the back, and a fun events programme – including their legendary pickle festival. It also has a bar billiards table! The only downside is how busy it can get – a curse of its own success.

Lovely choice of climbs to suffer up as you ride along it.

As of July 2025 the Villa is intermittently open, and free as walking around at ground level is not permitted (issues with mould). You can, however, see the site from a viewing window, & be told the history of the place. Stuart was my "guide" and was highly knowledgable and interesting.

Look to you right at the bottom of Rectory Lane, as you turn left onto the Pilgrims Way.
