This beautiful place is worth visiting with the family. The views are stunning, as are the entire Barycz Valley.

Like the nearby ponds, there's a huge number of birds here. The view is both beautiful and surprising. I recommend it for a spring or summer trip.

There is a place to rest and enjoy the views

The building is the remnant of part of the medieval fortifications. It was also a residential building. The baroque palace next door was built later.

The Duża Grabówka Pond is one of the best birdwatching spots in the Barycz Valley. It belongs to the "Ruda Sułowska" complex, the second largest group of ponds in the region, covering 800 ha of water. Although there are no towers or lookouts, the road running along the southern shore of the pond offers great bird views. There are several hiking trails in the area, as well as a nature trail loop starting and ending in the village of Ruda Sułowska. The route is ideal for a trekking bike - easy to ride and full of natural attractions.

A dirt road runs along a causeway between the ponds Żabiniec and Trzaśniówka. The road is pleasantly shaded in the summer. It is located on the orange Barycz Valley Trail.

It is a picturesque path that follows the former railway line, offering travelers not only an active holiday but also an insight into the history of the region. The construction of the railway line connecting Żmigród with Milicz (and further on to Sulmierzyce) was part of the expansion of the regional railway network in Prussia, aimed at improving passenger and freight transport. This section was put into service at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, probably in 1898.
