You have to be careful riding on many roads in Cornwall. Many roads are from older horse and cart era, which means they are very thin or narrow. The hedges are high and not cut back from the road verge. Visibility and viewing is very restricted. This disused railway line takes you along Calenick Creek. It's a nice place to run to from Truro as despite being so close, it really feels like you are immersed in nature. The Calenick Creek feeds into the Truro River, which joins with the River Fal.
