The ford on the River Windrush is found at the bottom of a steep lane at the northern edge of the village. It's a pretty little place and ideal for a sit down and picnic.

The market hall was built in 1627 to provide a shelter for traders. In the 1940s it was almost sold to an American, but the local people raised enough money to buy it instead and gave it to the National Trust to preserve. This is the start of the Cotswold Way.
