Looks like someones drive but is a Bridle Path on the map, it's a decent gravel cut through BUT the south end spits you out on the A600 which is not ideal.

Lovely place to stop and remember the crew of the airship, the Cardington Hangars are nearby and the Ensign for the Airship is across the road in the nearby church.

An interesting find on the southern side of the road hidden about 20 metres back in the forest. This memorial recognises the support of rail in the county of Bedfordshire dated 1864. Up the hill about 60 metres is a bridge from the now defunct Bedfordshire to Hitchen line (1857 - 1962) which presumably was built as a result of his support.

Nice hard packed surface that can link up a ride around Chicksands to touring paths further North.

Nice and quiet area to ride without traffic.
