nice place for a water stop. recheck of the map, there's a set of lights over the bridge, cars need to edge forward to trigger them, can be annoying if they dont as it holds the flow of traffic up.

An ancient area of woodland with a mixture of native tree species and a wide range of animals, insects and birds. The area is owned by Tarmac and the Ministry of Defence, some areas are occasionally closed for military exercises so always follow signs.

No cycling is permitted around this part of the lake, but this spot makes for a great pit stop to breathe in the fresh air and listen to the geese pecking at the grass. They can be quite loud!

It's nice to look at and walk over but the spiral stairs up and down are a nightmare to get bikes up and down.

The bridge is over the Birmingham and Fazely Canal which is parallel to the road at this point. You'll have to push your bike to view it properly.
