The three crosses viewpoint, in the heart of the Urkiola Natural Park, offers beautiful views of the Duranguesado mountains. The viewpoint is very close to the Urkiola sanctuary.

To get to the walls of Atxarte I follow one of the tracks of the GR38: “Ruta del Vino y del Pescado” which also crosses Urkiola and does so through a spectacular setting. The quarry and the walls of Atxarte are an icon of this small mountain range. An area with a climbing and mountaineering environment that is a reference throughout the Basque Country and surroundings.

The Viewpoint of the three crosses of Urkiola is just 150 meters from the Sanctuary of Urkiola. The views are impressive, being able to see most of the rocks of Duranguesado. It is in the heart of the Urkiola Natural Park. You can see the mountains: Mugarra. Untzillaitz, Aitz-txiki, Alluitz, Anboto, Eskubaratz, Leungane and Artatxagan among others.
