Charming hermitage very close to Raimat

Tradition has it that this hermitage was built by Pedro I of Aragón, who enthroned the image of Our Lady of Ganza that he used to carry into battle. That image was consumed by woodworm and was replaced by another, which in turn was destroyed in the Civil War. Now there is a reproduction of the previous one.

Quiet path parallel to a river with several waterfalls and natural pools. Here it is advisable to go more slowly with the bike due to the possibility of having families on the road, it can be avoided by doing a small section along the parallel road.

This hermitage is dedicated to the patron saint of nearby Baells. There, an active neighborhood association with the name of the Saint, wove a huge mural with strips of recycled plastic using the crochet technique and with it they decorate the hermitage during the patron saint festivities.

Fantastic trail, enjoyable and affordable

It is characteristic for being away from the axis of the same mountain range, it is an outpost of the same mountain range, which is in the southeast direction of the Sierra de la Carrodilla. At its peak is the hermitage of San Quílez, with 1,084 meters; to the south is the region of La Litera and to the north is Ribagorza.
