A beautiful sandy beach on the picturesque Lake Bukowo on the outskirts of Dąbki. You just want to sit on the sand and admire the views in peace and quiet. As for swimming, check if there's a permit, as not everywhere, and swimming is only permitted in designated, supervised areas during the summer season.

The Cistercian church and monastery in Bukowo Morskie is an impressive Gothic complex from the 13th century, once belonging to one of the most important monasteries in Pomerania. St. Stanislaus' Church has preserved many medieval architectural details, and its interior houses valuable monuments of sacral art. The monastery has been partially transformed, but its historical layout and significance are still visible. The town is located near Lake Bukowo and the bicycle route connecting Darłowo with Dąbki, which makes it a convenient place for a short stop and sightseeing. It is worth taking a bike lock, because the sightseeing takes place on foot.

A tiny village a few hundred years ago was a powerful center of spiritual, economic and cultural life. There was a huge monastery here, and Bukowo was adjacent to numerous settlements founded by the Cistercians. It is hard to believe all this when driving through Bukowo Morskie today. If you are expecting magnificent remains of an old monastery, palace or winery, mysterious ruins or something like that - you will be disappointed.
