Puentedey is a mandatory stop if we want to get to know one of the most beautiful towns in Las Merindades. It will be included in the list of the Most Beautiful Towns in Spain association in 2022. The enormous natural stone arch over the Nela River is its main emblem.

Defensive building with two large towers joined by a central body built at the end of the 14th century. It is an important historical and cultural monument, with an impressive keep and a central courtyard. The structure is well preserved and offers a unique view of Spanish medieval architecture.

From the bottom of the Peña Colorada is the Iglesia de Nuestra Señora de las Nieves. The road takes you to the foot of the stone where on top of it is the Ermita de San Pantaleón de Losa. Spectacular!
