This town dates back to pre-Roman times and it seems that not much has changed here in many years. The Baltanás Wineries are the most popular site in the city but the church of San Millán, the Hermitage of Nuestra Señora de Revilla and the Hermitage of San Gregorio are also important places to visit.

Here there are 374 traditional underground wineries and they stand out as the main attraction of the town of Baltanás. They are registered as Assets of Cultural Interest.

Town in the Cerrato region. It stands out for its Parish Church of the Assumption in Baroque style and the F-4 Phantom II combat plane in homage to the Martín Campos brothers, pilots of the Spanish military aviation. You can also visit the hermitage of Villella, the shepherd's huts, the beehives and various historical sources.

Baltanás, located in the Cerrato Palentino, was the old historical capital of the Cerrato Castellano and the Cerrato Palentino. In the urban area is the church of San Millán, the Palace-Hospital of Santo Tomás and the Convent of San Francisco. Baltanás also has excavated cellars declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.

Built in the 16th century on a previous building in the 9th century, the castle stands on a hill that dominates the surrounding landscape. The fortification still preserves part of its walls, towers and defensive elements. It was the scene of important historical events, such as the Enríquez revolt and the visit of Juana la Loca.

Magaz de Pisuerga is located at an important crossroads of the Pisuerga river. The town has remains of an 11th century castle destroyed by the French. Cycle past the 12th-century church and have a coffee in the Plaza Mayor.
