Añes is located on a hill at the bottom of the Llanteno Valley, at the foot of the Sierra Salvada, crowned by a vertical rock wall. The landscape is characterized by oak and ash forests in the first foothills of the mountain range, and by meadows and rocks as the altitude increases.

Located on a plain in Álava, south of the municipality, on the left bank of the Nervión River, Orduña is known for its impressive mountain scenery and Basque cultural heritage.
