Great trail along the El Puntal climb leading towards the highest point of the exposed geological rock formation called Piedra del Aguila.

On a hill just outside the town of Casariche, you'll find the historic site of Cerro Bellido. Quarry and settlement from Roman times. The stone supplied by these quarries was used in Roman constructions in Córdoba.

Passing through Pedera, you must pass by the Parish of San Sebastián de Pedrera, one of its most important monuments. You can get a drink and stock up on supplies whatever your adventure.

As a reference, the great brand of the famous Toro de Osborne winery indicates that we are approaching the town of Lora de Estepa.

Climb through the Estepa pine forest to reach this high point and the communication antennas peek out from among the trees. Great gravel trails around the forest and nearby quarries.

You'll be glad to have a bit of suspension on these cobbled streets as you climb the hill overlooking the city. You will reach the sites of the Santa Clara Convent and the impressive Alcázar Palace on the hill of San Cristóbal that dominated the city since Moorish times.

Nice gravel paths on a route between Estepa and Gilena. The route is shaded by pine forests at an altitude of around 600 masl, you get good views of the surrounding landscape below.

If you are cycling through Aguadulce and feel like making a stop and having something cool, head to Plaza Ramón y Cajal, in the center of the town, before heading back into the vast landscape covered with endless olive groves.
