The first third is magical! After that, it's so-so. We walked on a Sunday, and that meant we met lots of local day-trippers.

The buses to the starting point and back to La Laguna run very irregularly. You should plan your return trip in advance and download the route, because there's no reception on the way up to the top of the mountain. There's zero reception along the entire route, even in the small café.

Small mountain village in the heart of the Anaga Mountains. Here you can actually find houses carved into the rock, but also fabulous views and panoramic views as well as a rustic Canarian restaurant. A must visit. We hiked there from Las.Carboneras and were thrilled by the tour and the views.

Chinamada is one of the several hamlets of the Anaga Rural Park that make up the nucleus of Las Montañas. It stands out for its cave houses, its network of paths and trails and its proximity to some panoramic viewpoints that will not leave anyone indifferent, such as the Aguaide viewpoint.
