The municipality, located in the Jacetania region, has a population of 102 inhabitants (INE 2023). It covers an area of 8.9 km². Located in the Aragüés valley at an altitude of 944 m, in the north of the province. Together with Ansó, Aragüés del Puerto and Valle de Hecho it is part of the Mancomunidad de Los Valles. Its population was 111 inhabitants in 2014. Part of its municipal area is occupied by the Valles Occidentales natural park.
