La Casa Grande in Palencia is a historic building that has undergone several stages over the years. Originally, it was a stately home built in the 19th century. Initially, the Casa Grande was the private residence of a local noble family. Over time, the building has been adapted for various uses, including its transformation into a restaurant, which has retained much of its original structure and charm.

From this point you have a great view of the country. If you are not there at the wrong time, you might be lucky and the restaurant will be open.

Judging by the terrain markings, this is the parking lot from which I started.

Water stairs/lock 33 on the Canal de Castilla. At the lock there is also a "lost place" in the form of an old mill.

From this point we started our round at "El Monte Viejo". From here you have different options and directions in which you can ride. The trails that we rode from here were very easy to ride and fun 🇪🇦🚴‍♂️👍
