西側からシマンコンを登るのは簡単で、とても楽しかったです。レロホも同様です。幸いにも、とても晴れた日で、シエラネバダのムラセンやアフリカの一部まで見渡すことができました。 しかし、シマンコンからの下りは全く簡単ではありませんでした。特定のルートを見つけるのが難しく、細心の注意が必要です。

An interesting ascent/descent to the summit, pathless with beautiful friction plates (if you can find them: occasionally small yellow arrows on the rock), but hands are not needed, if the visibility is good: fantastic!

The Navazo Alto, 1,395 meters high, is the highest prominence in the Sierra del Caíllo. It is thus formed as one of the highest peaks of the Sierra de Grazalema. It goes without saying that from here the 360º views are unbeatable: the Sierra del Endrinal, the Sierra del Pinar, the Salto del Cabrero and the Bornos reservoir are just some of the visual gifts of this summit. On very clear days you can see the Strait of Gibraltar off the African coast.

The summit of Simancón, at 1566 meters high, is one of the most sought after in the Grazalema mountain range. From here there is an unbeatable view of the Sierra del Pinar, which has its highest point at 1648 meters, on the Torreón peak. On very clear days you can see the Serranía de Ronda, the Sierra de las Nieves and Sierra Nevada, as well as the relief of North Africa.

From the path to Puerto de las Presillas you will have these beautiful panoramic views that include the Simancón massif and the well-known Reloj.

Located in the Sierra del Endrinal, these two peaks are linked together by a karstic mountain range. The Simancón is the third highest peak in the province of Cádiz, with 1569 meters; the Clock, with 1535 meters, has a geodesic vertex in its highest part.

On the ascent to the Simancon, it is also worthwhile to go a little cross-country over furrowed limestone rocks spiced with easy climbing.
