Laguna Larga de Villacañas is one of the most important wetlands in the Toledo region of La Mancha, ideal for nature and photography lovers. Type: Endorheic saline lagoon (landlocked). Area: Approximately 178 hectares. Protection: It is part of the Natura 2000 Network and has been declared a Nature Reserve. Flora: Halophilous vegetation (adapted to saline soils), such as glasswort and esparto grass. Fauna: A wide variety of aquatic and steppe birds: Flamingos, avocets, and black-winged stilts. Migrating harriers, great bustards, and cranes.

The Parish Church of Our Lady of the Assumption of Villacañas dates back to the first half of the 16th century. It was erected by the Order of Saint John of Jerusalem, Priory of Consuegra, before Villacañas received the title of town in 1557.

The Wheat Silos, popularly known as "The Wheat Wells," were former grain storage silos. It's one of the meeting places or the starting point for various local cycling groups.

Laguna Larga is a saline wetland of great ecological and scenic value located in the municipality of Villacañas. This natural oasis covers an area of approximately 200 hectares and has a maximum depth of approximately 2 meters. Its salinity is very high, higher than that of the sea, which supports a wide variety of flora and fauna adapted to these extreme conditions. The lagoon is seasonal, remaining flooded depending on rainfall and inevitably dry during the summer months. Among the vegetation, one can see reed meadows, salt steppes, and dryland crops surrounding the wetland. Among the fauna, birds stand out, including the European flamingo, the white-headed shelduck, the black-winged stilt, the Kentish plover, the avocet, the marsh harrier, the white-faced tern, and the black-headed gull.

This is an artificial lake in the old Cigüela riverbed. It is a small wetland with a high landscape and natural value, in addition to the biological diversity of the lagoon environment, which welcomes migratory birds in passage and aquatic birds that live there occasionally.

This is a construction that began in 1950 and was inaugurated in 1952. It is located next to the Cigüela River, about 2 km from Puebla de Almoradiel, on land that used to be part of the Cañada Real Soriana. On May 15th, a pilgrimage is held that is very popular among the local residents.

Cerro Santo is the place where the El Romeral mills are located, which have been in use from the 18th century to the mid-20th century. Their names are: "Gorrinos" mill, "El Pechuga" mill and "Crítica" mill.

During the months of June and July near El Romeral we can visit several lavender fields in bloom.
