Magnificent landscape view...

The views and the ruins are worth it.

It is true that those who climb here do so for the castle, not so much for the top itself, but it is also fine as another reason for the climb.

Reach the top of Costalera at 1234 meters above sea level. It is not an easy task and it is not suitable for people who are just starting out in mountain hiking. The last km from Pena Gallet or from Portillo de Nazar are technical and you must go very carefully and with a firm step. The views are amazing but if you feel that the path is very complicated, don't risk it, stay with the views from a little further down, which are also very beautiful!

The top of Pena Gallet is 1,158 meters above sea level and the views from here are wonderful. The path can be somewhat uncomfortable because it is quite narrow and in technical sections added to the bushes, but it can be avoided and you can walk while enjoying the beautiful landscape.

With its top at 958 meters above sea level. the views from the top of Sardegi are wonderful. You will have very nice panoramic views of the Ollobarren valley and you will be able to appreciate the curious silhouette of the Sierra de Lokiz from the highest point.

Along with Peña Negra and Sernariaga, Peñarroya is one of the highest peaks in the area, over 500 meters above sea level. and you will have beautiful panoramic views of the entire Ega river valley and Montejurra in front.
