The medieval bridge of Auñón crosses the Tagus river near the Entrepeñas reservoir. It was built in the 14th century and is more than 80 meters long.

There are amazing places in Guadalajara even for the people of this land. This route (Route SPG-47) takes you to one of those places, the Hermitage of the Virgen del Madroñal, a mystical environment with a privileged location on the waters of the Entrepeñas Reservoir.

In the plain of the Arles river, between the Tagus and the Tajuña, the Villa Ducal de Pastrana welcomes us. Auñón is a small town next to the N-320 national road. The tower of the great Church of San Juan Bautista rises up and can be seen from miles away.
