Town Gate 15th-16th Century Gothic Archway This was the main entrance to the walled enclosure (town), known as the "Town Gate" or "South Gate." It is the only one of the three gates that once stood in the town that remains; the other two, the False Gate and the New Gate, have disappeared. It has a pointed arch, similar to that of the castle gate, and is defended by its corresponding machicolations. A row of elegant crenellations crowns the structure. The traces of the gate's anchoring points (hinges, etc.) are still visible in the stone.

Church of Our Lady of La Muela 15th-6th Century Gothic church, consisting of a single nave with three rectangular bays, a main chapel with a small apse resting on arches, and side chapels. It has a ribbed vault, a segmental arch, and chapels with ribbed vaults of varying designs. Hispano-Flemish portal, with a segmental arch and attached columns and balusters with Renaissance motifs. Coat of arms of the Mendoza family, patrons of the work. Next to the church is a 15th-century style.

15th-16th Century Castle Opening Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Closed Monday and Tuesday. This Gothic-Renaissance castle-palace, associated with the Mendoza family, has a pentagonal floor plan. At its corners rise towers of varying shapes and sizes; three stand out: the western tower, circular; the southern tower, rectangular; and the eastern tower, octagonal on the exterior and hexagonal on the interior. All are connected by a wall-walk. The towers and walls are crowned with striking crenellations. It has two gates, the main gate and a false gate, both with pointed arches and defended by machicolations. Inside, the Renaissance arcaded courtyard is particularly noteworthy, featuring a double gallery and beautiful Plateresque plasterwork decoration on the upper level. A passageway in the western wall once connected the castle to the church.

Serón de Nágima is a municipality in Soria in the community of Castilla y León, whose history dates back to archaeological remains from the Bronze Age, Celtiberians and Romans. Due to its border position, it was a prominent location during the defense against al-Andalus. Its castle, dating back to the 14th or 15th centuries, is in a very poor state of conservation, given that it is built with clay materials that are not very resistant to erosive action.
