Estena Peak is the second highest point in the Sierra de San Pedro, at 677 meters, after Torrico de San Pedro at 702 meters. The climb is tough, with gradients of 10% maintained for just under three kilometers. At first, the shade of the pines and eucalyptus trees makes the climb easier, but as you gain altitude and make the numerous turns to the left and right, your strength begins to wane. The last sections are the worst; they are so bad that they had to be concreted to make it easier for the rangers' off-road vehicle to ascend. Keep in mind that there are two climbs. One, the main one, initially passes through private property; the other climbs up the right side, as you look straight ahead at the gate at the start of the climb.
