Chinchón is one of the most picturesque and distinctive towns in the Community of Madrid. Located about 45 kilometers from the capital, it stands out for its Castilian atmosphere and its history linked to the aristocracy and cinema.

The Plaza Mayor of Alameda de la Sagra is the social and cultural heart of the town, a space that blends tradition and everyday life. Puñoenrostro Castle is an impressive medieval fortress located in Seseña (Toledo), although it is also associated with Torrejón de Velasco (Madrid) due to its proximity and recent restoration projects. Built in the 14th century, it was granted by Henry IV to Diego Arias de Ávila, his accountant and secretary. His descendants were named Counts of Puñoenrostro under Charles I. In 1862, the castle was sold along with its pastureland.

The history of Yunclillos dates back to ancient times, with evidence of settlements in the area dating back to Roman times. However, it was during the Middle Ages that the town began to gain importance, becoming part of the domains of various military orders and noble fiefdoms. This historical heritage is evident in its monuments and the layout of its architecture, which combines Mudejar and Renaissance elements. Throughout the centuries, Yunclillos has maintained its own identity, adapting to change while preserving its essence. The combination of its history, architecture, traditions, and natural landscapes makes the town a place full of life and charm.

Next to this bridge over the Guadarrama, in Toledo, the old inn that provided services to travelers was located. Currently you can see the ruins of the building.

La Galiana crosses the Tajuña over an old medieval bridge and enters the streets of Titulcia, placed on a strategic hill of gypsum marl at the confluence of the Jarama and Tajuña rivers since Roman times. The houses are distributed on a slope, a curious place is the Cueva de la Luna, inhabited in other times by the Templars. The route leaves the town through the upper part and continues the gravel journey along the cattle track, nearby is the Oppidum archaeological site, where a plate dating back 25 centuries known as the Pátera de Titulcia was found. La Galiana is also known as Cañada de las Merinas, it goes up the edge of the Jarama gypsum cliffs towards the heights of El Pingarrón hill, which has some country houses on the sides of the ravine, and enters the territory of La Alcarria Madrid.
