The first 2 km are very tough. Some slopes reach up to 15%. The remaining 11 km until Legutio are very manageable. Light traffic, good asphalt, beautiful scenery.

The Plaza de los Fueros is a large rectangular pedestrian street that forms the center of the city and features several good taverns and restaurants with terraces under the arcades. Designed in the mid-19th century, it is a colonnaded square, enclosed on three sides, opening onto a small garden area, behind which is a large esplanade used for a street market on Saturdays. In this square of simple neoclassical buildings, the Town Hall building is particularly striking for its lavish and exuberant decoration.

The Karabieta pass, located at a height of 565 meters, is one of the most recognized climbs in the area. The climb is not too long and its slope is quite progressive. A slightly demanding climb, but with wonderful landscapes.

The current official name of the municipality is Arrasate/Mondragón. This double denomination is an old dispute where it was decided that the nucleus should be called both Arrasate and Mondragón, one in Spanish and the other in Basque.

Udana from Oñati is a climb in the Basque Country region. It has a length of 6.9 kilometers and an ascent of 270 vertical meters with a slope of 3.9% on average. The top of the ascent is located at 515 meters above sea level.

The Urkiola Natural Park occupies a large part of the surface of this small town in Durangaldea. Mañaria is surrounded by a splendid landscape, sheltered by beautiful limestone peaks such as Errialtabaso (1,018 m), Mugarra (964 m), Saibi (946 m) and Untzillatx (934 m).
