El Pinós, also known as Pinoso, is a municipality located in the west of the province of Alicante, in the Vinalopó Mitjà region. The pine landscape is characterized by white limestone lands covered with vineyards, mainly of the Monastrell variety, which produces high-alcohol red wines and dessert wines called Fondillón.

The Parish Church of San Pedro Apóstol, located in El Pinós/Pinoso, is a building with a rich history and notable architecture. The church was founded in 1739 on the site of an old hermitage. Over time, the building was expanded and, in 1888, it acquired its current appearance with the construction of the Communion chapel.

Algueña is a municipality in the Medio Vinalopó region, very close to the border with Murcia. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and almond groves, this agricultural town stands out for its wine-growing offer.

El Pinós or Pinoso is the first town to be found when leaving the Region of Murcia. It belongs to Alicante, to the Medio Vinalopó region, and its economy is based on agriculture and the extraction of cream-ivory marble. In Monte Coto, where the quarries are located, there is a nature classroom.

This parish is located in the heart of the town of Pinoso. It was founded in 1739, but it was not until 1888 that it acquired the appearance that is seen today. It is worth visiting inside.
