Excellent dedicated bike trail behind the dunes without car traffic. Lined with shade trees, playgrounds and access trails to the water, and to beach restaurants

Nice picnic facilities with shade trees near the bike trail behind the beach. The lookout tower is officially closed, but in good condition and easily accessible.

The first church from 1929 stood on the current Plaza de las Flores, but was desecrated and destroyed by a group of rioters in 1936. In 1954, after some hesitations due to financial shortages, the church was rebuilt.
