The Green Way of Dénia (Vía Verde Dénia-El Verger) is one of the most beautiful and easily accessible routes in the municipality. It follows the old railway line that connected Dénia with Carcaixent (Valencia) and is now an ideal route for hiking, cycling, or simply relaxing in a peaceful and natural setting.

The museum is located on Calle Cavallers in the historic center of Dénia. It offers a comprehensive overview of Dénia's more than two-thousand-year history – from the early Iberian settlements through the Roman city of "Dianium" and the Islamic Taifa period "Dāniya" to the modern Christian era. The collection includes archaeological finds such as ceramics, coins, tools, and bronze artifacts, which document the city's cultural and economic transformations over the centuries. Particularly noteworthy are Islamic bronzes from the 10th and 11th centuries and Roman trade goods, which underscore Dénia's importance as a Mediterranean trading center. Founded in 1957, the museum was originally housed in Dénia Castle. Following extensive renovations, it moved to the "Casa de la Marquesa" in 2024, where the exhibition is now more accessible, multimedia, and educational. Today the museum is considered the cultural heart of the city and offers visitors a vivid insight into the historical development of Dénia as an important port and trading city on the Mediterranean.

It is dedicated to the history and culture of Dénia during the heyday of the raisin trade, which significantly contributed to the region's economic boom in the 19th century. The exhibition spans several floors: the ground floor displays historical photographs and documents illustrating the process of raisin production and export. On the first floor, the living quarters of a wealthy family from that era have been reconstructed with original furniture, clothing, and decorative elements such as Manises ceramics and works by the painter Francisco Dasi. The second floor showcases tools, implements, and everyday objects that offer insights into agricultural work and maritime trade. The building itself is considered part of the exhibition, reflecting the architecture and lifestyle of the bourgeoisie of that time. Admission is free, and the museum offers an authentic glimpse into the bourgeois and economic life of Dénia in the 19th century.

The municipal museum aims to highlight the history of the 19th century. During this time, Dénia experienced a special boom and development thanks to the raisin trade. This trade was the economic driving force of Dénia and led to major urban development. At the same time, it created a cultural climate and a consolidated civil society that benefited from the advances of the time: the train and gas, among others.
