A beautiful stretch of land between both towns, especially in spring.

The Venturada watchtower is part of the set of Muslim defensive towers from around the 10th century that were distributed throughout the Jarama basin and served the then kingdom of Toledo. This particular one is built on a rock base that gives it a more spectacular look. In addition, its carefully selected location provides unparalleled views of the Sierra Norte environment.

There are two clearly differentiated urban centers, a beautiful watchtower of Arab origin, a lot of traditional architecture and Los Quebraones, a very interesting natural space.

Torrelaguna is the birthplace of Cardinal Cisneros, one of the most influential figures in medieval Spanish history. In addition, it was a walled city and some of its doors are currently preserved. One of its jewels is the church of Santa María Magdalena, in Gothic style, which is in the center of the town.

Founded by Alfonso Filming location of the movie "Welcome, Mister Marshall" (1952), this Madrid town is a good access point to the lower area of the Sierra de Guadarrama, with the Vellón reservoir very close and the Cerro de San Pedro separating it from the town of Colmenar Viejo.
