In the heart of the village of El Palau de Anglesola stands this magnificent 19th-century Baroque church. Besides the church, visitors can also admire the charming old streets that wind through the village.

If our route passes through the town of Alcoletge, we cannot pass by the Church of San Miguel Arcángel de Alcoletge, an important construction from between 1765 and 1773 in neoclassical style with baroque elements.

The town of Alcoletge (place name derived from the Islamic voice al-qulàica, the castle) is the only clustered population center in the area. There are also the Camí d'Artesa, Camí de Lleida, Tossal de la Nora, Concordia and Roser housing estates. Among the games, it is worth mentioning that of La Plana and Gavarneres to the west, Argelagar to the east, Pla Negret to the south and Església Vella. The town is 213 m above sea level, on the slopes of Tossal d'Alcoletge, in a row of hills on the first terraces bordering the Segre.
