The Alarcos mill is documented as early as the 13th century, located next to the Alarcos bridge. It is a hydraulic mill that, in medieval times, was the most important machinery of the economy.

The Alarcos hill is located on the left bank of the Guadiana River, 8 kilometers from Ciudad Real capital. Excavated since 1984, we mainly find archaeological remains that show human occupation of this space from the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages, with a long intermediate period of depopulation in Roman and Visigothic times.
