The mythical Almanzor (2,591 m) is very close, you can almost touch it with your hand, but there is still a "little step" to reach the summit. First you have to go through the narrow pass of Portilla del Crampón (2,536 m) and make a somewhat disturbing crossing between the Cuerno del Almanzor tower (2,543 m) and the Risco de la Portilla del Crampón (2,564 m), it is an area where there have been quite a few accidents, especially when there is ice or poor visibility, there are precipices, canals or granite towers everywhere. The final climb to the apex goes up a plate with few grips (F+) that has anchors to install an insurance system. And there is also the option of going up another channel located to the left that has a small wall with grips. The summit is very small, there is hardly room for two or three people, and the views are fantastic, like the sensations of reaching the highest peak of the mountain range through the crest of the glacial cirque.
