Villaconejos is an agricultural town, world-renowned for its melons, which have been grown in the municipality since the 16th century, and also for the quality of its oil and wine, two notable local products. In the centre of the town there are several facades with traditional balconies with wrought iron railings and carved decorations. La Galiana crosses the Tajuña over an old medieval bridge and enters the streets of Titulcia, placed on a strategic hill of gypsum marl at the confluence of the Jarama and Tajuña rivers since Roman times.
