El Molino del Cubo is several km from Torredonjimeno (Jaén) and is a construction dating from the mid-15th century, with two floors and a square cube-shaped structure (hence the name), and which is preserved in relatively good condition. It is considered to be of cultural interest and was built by the Military Orders of the southern peninsula, specifically the Order of Calatrava in 1437, next to the stream of the same name. The waterwheel was in the upper nave from where the water fell from the stream that arrived through a conduit called acequia.
